I had a good chat today at lunch with one of my new co-workers.   The subject was a certain former governor of Illinois and I had to admit something.  


That was unbelievable television.

I can't recall seeing a guy so guilty go down swinging so hard.  Unreal.  

That was going out in an absolute, both guns firing blaze of glory.  The speech, the news interview, the kids he was trying to get in the shot (didn't one of them ask him if he play basketball with him?), the message in spanish...  

Holy shit.  There was just so much going on there.

Blagojevich is on a whole 'nother level of slimeball politician.   But, I can't lie, much like a train wreck, I couldn't take my eyes away from the whole thing.

The Next Episode

Posts have been light over the last week, but for good reason.  My new job is in full swing and so far so good.   The vibe of the place is definitely better and so are the people.  So, at this point, hope definitely springs eternal.


But, even though I don't have as much free time, I definitely want to keep blogging.  It will probably be down to 3 to 5 posts a week instead of everyday, but there's just too much going on in the world for me not to come on here and ramble about.
